SMS Opt-In
Jeannine's Baking Co. (DBA Jeannine's Bakery) sends text messages to customers about their bakery and cake orders. This page explains how you join the program, what we send, and how we handle your information.

How you opt in
You can join in one of three ways. Consent is never a condition of purchase: you can place any order without giving us your mobile number.
- Online. When you place a cake or bakery order on our order form, you enter your mobile number and check a box that reads: "Text me updates about my order. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe." The box is unchecked by default.
- In person. A staff member asks, "Would you like to receive text updates about your order?" and records your mobile number only if you say yes.
- By phone. The same question and the same wording, when you place an order over the phone.
What we send
Order confirmations, pickup time reminders, a secure link that lets you review or update your own order details, and replies to questions about your order. These are transactional messages tied to an order you placed. We do not send marketing or promotional texts through this program.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies by order, typically 1 to 4 messages per order.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to stop
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at contact@jeannines.com or +1 (805) 969-0088.
Privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services, such as our messaging provider, is permitted solely so that these messages can be delivered. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
